Children DNA Methylation

Childhood is the perfect example of how suffering a traumatic experience can cause genes to work ineffectively via methylation which can affect us long term.

One thing that got me fascinated about genetics is that every past experience has an effect on our genes which then affects how our body works.

Childhood is the perfect example of how suffering a traumatic experience can cause genes to work ineffectively via methylation which can affect us long term. (Consider methylation as the engine fuel your car requires for everything to function). Trauma causes a lack of support/nutrients to the genes which then begins to affect our detoxification pathways, mood, how we see the world, and our overall state of health.

I believe this is the most effective way of treating any kind of trauma and we can rarely get good results without the other since the energy of trauma is often intense enough to cause physical responses in the body.

This article is a really interesting read to raise awareness of how important it is to fully heal trauma on all levels. It is healed spiritually but also biologically.
